Who Can Apply: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. General/EWS: Minimum 55% marks in a Master's degree.

2. OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Minimum 50%.

3. Final-year Master's students can apply provisionally (degree must be completed within 2 years).

4. 4-year Bachelor's degree holders (with 75% marks) are eligible for JRF and Ph.D. admission only.

5. Ph.D. holders who completed a Master's before 19 September 1991 receive a 5% relaxation.

Age Limit (As of 1st June 2025)

1. JRF: Maximum 30 years.

2. Assistant Professor: No age limit.
